SAFE HANDS ASSOCIATION FOR ADOLESCENT AND FEMALE'S REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH, IN COLLABORATION WITH ZION A HAPPY HOME FOUNDATION

Menstrual hygiene remains a critical yet often overlooked aspect of women’s health. Lack of access to appropriate sanitary materials and education can lead to unhygienic practices, stigma, and even gender-based violence. Safe Hands Association and Zion A Happy Home Foundation joined forces to address these challenges and support adolescent girls in managing their menstruation effectively. SAFE HANDS ASSOCIATION for Adolescent and Female’s Reproductive Health, in collaboration with Zion A Happy Home Foundation, undertook a project to improve menstrual hygiene among adolescent girls. Recognizing the significance of menstrual health and hygiene in empowering women and girls, the project aimed to provide free, safe, and comfortable sanitary materials to over 50 underprivileged. The initiative sought to combat negative attitudes, misconceptions, and health risks associated with poor menstrual hygiene, ultimately promoting reproductive health and well being.
